A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY THROUGH GREECE
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF ST PAUL
As we are now in the third millennium it is good to look back to the first century missionary journeys of St Paul and the expansion of the early Christian Church and particularly its transition westwards from Asia to Europe. St Paul was the first to bring Christianity to Europe and this ten day pilgrimage from 17th September – 26th September 2014 will bring to life the early churches Paul founded and corresponded with. Places so familiar from the New Testament, including Thessalonika, Philippi and Corinth will be visited.
On the pilgrimage we closely trace the footsteps of St Paul through Greece on his third missionary journey. We visit splendid historic sites set in a beautiful country and, through daily times of worship, bring to life stories from the Acts of the Apostles and the relationship of St Paul to the first Christian churches established in Europe.
