All Saints’ Day – Sunday November 3rd This year, for a change, our Patronal Festival meal will take the form of an Afternoon Tea.  Please pick up a leaflet from the back of Church for the full details.

Christmas Market We need volunteers to serve on stalls.  There is a list at the back of Church for you to sign up.  Please do not be put off if there is already a name against a stall as we need more than one person for each stall.  We also need items to make up a Christmas Hamper and this list is also at the back of Church for you to sign up.  Many thanks.  More to follow in the coming weeks!

Christmas Market We need someone to run the kitchen for this year’s event on Saturday 23rd November.  Please let Adrian or a Churchwarden know if you can help.

Luncheon Club has a new start time of 12.15 pm with Lunch being served at 12.30pm. Everyone is welcome. Why not come and join us this week on either Tuesday or Thursday or both days for company and a two-course meal followed by tea or coffee for only £4.50 per person. Call 0121 308 6869 in the week for your space at the table.

Our Organ Concert Series continues on Saturday 19th October with Angela performing the Durufle Suite here at All Saints’ Church. 1.00pm start, lasts 45 minutes.  Admission free, retiring collection.

Youth Group meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday in the month.  Our next meeting is 6.30pm today. Why not encourage a young person you know to come along and get involved?

Pauline and Martin Whitehead are organizing a Marriage Enrichment evening at Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church on 8th November from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm. Based on a DVD by Care for the Family on the theme of ‘Cherish’ and the five love languages, it is a chance for couples to have an evening to talk with each other about the subject, you only discuss with your own partner. Suitable for any couple in a committed relationship. Cost £10 per couple includes drinks and a cake or desert.  For more information please email or look at the events calendar on the SCBC website.

Unused puzzle books (word search, sudoku, crossword of the simpler type etc) and jigsaws (less than 1000 pieces but all there) required for prisoners at Swinfen Hall Prison and YOI. Please give to Rita Evans at the 10am service or to one of the wardens to pass on to Rita – many thanks.

All Souls sheets are available at the back of church for you to add names of those to be remembered at our Service of Thanksgiving on 27 October.
