This week’s notices

Luncheon Club welcomes you back on Tuesday 7th January.  We look forward to seeing you all there.

Messy Church Our next Messy Church session is on Saturday 11th January.

Church Magazine subscription is now due at the princely sum of £6 per annum.  If you wish to pay as a one-off payment, please place it in an envelope with your name on it and put it in the box on the table at the back of Church.  May I encourage you to pay this way as it makes it easier for you and the Treasurer.  Many thanks. Linda Lewis

All Saints’ Church Centre Members’ Bar  Thank you to everyone who attended the film night equipment trial on Friday 3rd January.  Assuming all went well the official launch will take place on Friday 10th January 2020 – further details and the film being shown will be advertised in the Bar Area as soon as possible.

Bar membership renewal communications will be sent out during January, but if you want to beat the rush, please feel free to pop into the office at any time.  Membership is still only just £7 per year.

Mothers’ Union  Instead of an afternoon meeting on 20th January we will be meeting in church on Friday 17th January at 12 noon to have our annual Wave of Prayer meeting which will last about half an hour – you will recall this keeps a continuous wave of prayer going across the Anglican Communion as we pray for members in our Diocese and our Linked Dioceses. A collection will be taken for our Overseas members and envelopes will be distributed to all branch members to facilitate this.

Christmas Market Louise and Val Warner will once more be running a Christmas themed stall for the market this year. Now is the time to buy up any bargain Christmas cards and other items or to let us have any surplus Christmas cards you have. Please give them to Louise or myself or leave under the table at the back of church.

New Year Quiz We will be holding a New Year Quiz with Fish and Chip supper on Friday 24th January – cost for entry and food will be £7.50.  Contact the Centre office if you are interested in attending.

Aumbry Candles.  If you wish to provide an Aumbry Candle in memory of a loved one during 2020, please put their name on the list at the back of Church.  Donations can be placed in the labelled box.  The usual cost to us of a candle is around £3.60.
