This week’s notices

Youth Group Our Youth Group meets every 2nd and 4th Sunday in the Month and starts back after Christmas this evening at 6.30pm in the Church Centre.

Mothers’ Union Wave of Prayer, please note this year we are doing things with a slight difference and holding our wave of prayer on Tuesday 15th January, 7.50am (prayers starting at 8.00am) at the home of Valerie Warner, 251 Lichfield Road, followed by breakfast at Renato Lounge. This enables us to be having our prayers at our actual allocated time.

Social Justice Group. Our next meeting is planned for Tuesday 22nd January, 7.30pm at 34 Meadowside Road. We are currently considering the plight of refugees and asylum seekers, if you are interested you are most welcome to come along to the meeting.

Knit & Knatter Come and join us on the 2nd and 4th Monday in the month in the Dorothy Watkinson Lounge at 2pm.  Bring your own knitting or pick up one of our patterns.  If you want to know more, please ask Sally or Lyndie.  We reconvene in the new year on Monday 14th January 2019.

Aumbry Candles.  If you wish to provide an Aumbry Candle in memory of a loved one during 2019, please put their name on the list at the back of Church.  Donations can be placed in the labelled box.  The cost to us of providing the candles is £3.60.

Church Magazine Subscription 2019.  If you wish to subscribe to the magazine on an annual basis please could you place £6, along with your name in the envelope provided, in the box at the back of church.  Many thanks.

Church Sitting  Thank you to the loyal group who “sit” to ensure that our Church is open on Wednesdays.  It would help if we had names of people who would be prepared to be on standby in case we had not enough “sitters”.  If you would like to volunteer, please have a word with either Geoff Meeson or Linda Lewis.  Thanks.
